Four ready-to-use training sessions are designed to be offered by agencies. Each comes as a complete package, with a script, an outline, a PowerPoint presentation, and all handouts, exercises and activities.
(ALL EMPLOYEES, 1.5-2.5 hours, to familiarize employees with benefits available to them through SEAP)
(ALL EMPLOYEES, 1 – 2 hours, to familiarize employees with policies on substances in the workplace as well as the treatments and services available for individuals with substance use issues)
(SUPERVISORS, MANAGERS, UNION OFFICIALS, 1.25 – 2 hours, to describe guidelines for assessing an employee’s fitness for duty and discuss procedures for dealing with an employee who is unfit for duty)
(SUPERVISORS, MANAGERS, UNION OFFICIALS, 2 – 3 hours, to discuss how supervisors and union officials can use SEAP resources as well as discuss the
Condition of Continued Employment and its use)
